How it's made
My custom canvas prints are produced using a 12-colour Giclée print process for a museum-quality finish, before being hand-stretched over a wooden frame, which is milled with a curved profile to help minimise contact with the face of the canvas, preventing impression marks and surface cracking.
Each corner is then folded tightly over each edge and fixed with staples to the frame. We use finger-jointed canvas frames to create corner tension and help resist warping. For larger sizes, we add wooden wedges to each corner, ensuring the canvas surface remains taut and allowing for easy re-stretching in future.
My framed canvas prints are made following the same process as above but with the additional option of adding a frame.
All of my canvas wall art comes delivered to hang with a 100+ year colour guarantee.
How long will this canvas print last?
Current scientific lab reports suggest that the Giclée printing process will produce a print that lasts between 100-200 years in optimal conditions.
Please note that any print in direct sunlight will likely fade over time.
Can I have different sizes of your canvas prints?
Yes, different sizes can be made (just ask for custom size) by emailing me at support [at] vikithorbjorn [dot] art with all the details (which painting, what size, your delivery location).
Can I see your art in real life?
You cannot see these art prints in real life as, at the moment, I do not wish to bring anyone into my studio.
Is it a real painting or a print?
This is a replica of my original painting. It is a print, not the original artwork.

Returns & refund questions
Returns due to damage or defective items
Accidents happen though this is rare. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately (within 1 day) if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so I can evaluate the issue and make it right. Keep the original packaging and take photos of the damage to use as evidence.
And email the photos and as much details as you can to the purchase confirmation email containing your order details.
Change of mind returns
I am unable to accept cancellations or returns.
All of my fine art prints are made to order, with love and care. For this reason I'm unable to accept returns, exchanges or change of mind as I do not hold stock.
As many of my art pieces are sent directly from a framer or fine art printer, please do not send your purchase back to the fine art printer, framer or manufacturer on your shipping label. I cannot guarantee that your purchase will be able to be received safely and this may result in a loss of your purchase.
Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
You can always contact me for return or refund questions at support [at] vikithorbjorn [dot] art.
